~*~ NEW POST ~*~ 06-30-07

Wow.. There's alot to update you all on, I hope you dont get too bored reading all this!! haha. Well for starters we'll Start with Lil Miss Kylie Hoo!  She is over 2'8" tall now and finally broke 25 lbs!! we'll find out her exact height and weight and next WIC visit in August. She's grown a lot of hair since we left stateside, and my has her vocabulary exploded! You should here har talk!! I just sometimes wish I could have a quiet moment! HAHA.

Update on Steven... He's been having problems with his legs since El PAso. We got here and doctors have actually looked into it and decided it isn't shin splints but more likely a tumor in his tibia. There are several specialist looking over his tests - xrays, mri's, cat scans.. etc. to try to figure this out. We FINALLY found a pain killer that actually helps him get through the day, now we just have to keep buggin the doctors to get more out of them!  Also in the past few months he has been diagnosed with Asthma, it was really bad when they were running tests to figure out just what was going on and his body wasn't responding to treatment at first but he is now and they feel it is under control....we'll try to keep you updated...

Update on Heather - She went to the doctor for her annual Pap a few months back and it came back moderate - high level displasia so off she went to get a colposcopy where they took 4 biopsies. When those came back she was referred to Lester Naval Hospital because they had found cancerous prone cells at high levels. They did a procedure called "LEEP" and the results came back they said the Margins were large evough to safely say they got all the bad cells out - she has a follow up in a few months to check up on it. we'll keep you posted.

Please keep us in your prayers as you can obciously see a lot is going on with us medically. To the point ithey are considering medically discharging Steven (for his leg) which means we would be coming home sooner that the expected 2010. We'll keep everyone posted.

~*~ POSTED ~*~ 11-30-06. Steven traveled to Okinawa October 19 to get things prepared for Heather and Kylie to follow shortly after. He had to have a license, car, and house for them to come over. He had it all taken care of in about 2 weeks... much quicker than was planned!!! Kylie and Heather started their journey over on november 13 and finally arrived late the 15th!! Everything is almost all the way unpacked, we're getting settled into a routine, meeting new people, and just overall enjoying each others company again!! We'll be here for a while, so we hope you'll check back often to look for updates :)

~*~ POSTED ~*~ 07-05-06. Just got back from visiting Family and Friends in Missouri. We had a great time! Thanks to everyone for opening homes, and being there to talk to and just hang out and have fun with. Lots of pictures posted take a look!

While Heather and Kylie were in Missouri, Steven was in Ft. Hood on a mission. He received many awards and coins for his dedication and working above the call of duty. He recieved awards from the Polish Army, British Army, and US Army, and others... He also played Chess with 2, 3, and 4 star generals!! (in civilian lingo... highest ranking you can recieve in the army! HUGE deal!!)
